MathCounts Team is Thriving

Who attends math meetings until 10 p.m. on a Friday night? The Compass MathCounts team does! The MathCounts group met from 6-10 p.m. this past Friday for a pizza, problems, and philm (aka movie) night.

The Compass MathCounts team has completed 1098 problems so far this school year, with many dedicated students showing great accountability in completing 20 or more problems individually each week. Congratulations to the team on their dedication and focused work!

Notes From the Board

In December, the Board will hold a book club for parents in collaboration with the PAC. We will be discussing the book Range: Why Generalists Triumph in a Specialized World, by David Epstein. The date and time is still TBD, but in the meantime, happy reading!

The Mill Levy Override for education (ballot measure 4A) is on the BACK of the ballot!  Please take the time to flip your ballot over, mail it in, and help support teachers and students!

Following PSD's lead and Larimer County Health Department recommendations, Compass will determine the learning plan for the 20-21 school year later this summer. Please check email regularly and follow health department guidelines to keep your family well during the outbreak of Corona Virus (COVID-19).
