I am passionate about designing experiences that put people on a path to fulfill their potential personally, professionally, and as agents of positive change in the world! Currently I work as a leadership and organizational consultant helping leaders develop emotional intelligence skills and build cultures of fulfillment where people and organizations thrive. During my 30+ year career, I have also worked as the Assistant Principal at Olander Elementary School, the Social Studies Facilitator on the Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment team in Poudre School District, and as the Chief Operating Officer at the nonprofit No Barriers. Prior to these roles, I taught Social Studies and English in several countries in South America and in a public high school for low-income, recent immigrants in New York City. I earned my Master of Arts degree in Education from Columbia University Teacher College, and completed the Principal Licensure program at Colorado State University. Outside of work, I thrive on new challenges and love exploring the wilderness and the world alongside my husband and son, who has been a student at Compass since its opening year. It gives me great pleasure to be active in the local community by serving on nonprofit boards and in other volunteer positions, as well as to engage in multiple groups that exist for exploration, learning, and fun!
