Fort Collins and United Arab Emirates Students Have a Meetup

Dawn’s venture recently had a great chat with the students of Ryan International School in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. Dawn reported:

“We discussed our class projects for the UN Sustainable Development goals and discovered that kids all over the world are passionate about the environment and basic human rights. The Compass students and the Ryan students are both working on projects to raise money and awareness for humanitarian goals. We also discovered a common love of technology and engineering, as we discussed coding, robots, and solar cars. You would have been really proud of the kids—they asked great questions, listened attentively, and almost everyone attended even though it was at 9pm our time.”
