Compass Student Earns Spot at Robotics World Championship

We’re so proud to share that Clara represented Compass at the FIRST Robotics World Championship in Houston back in April! Teams came from across the globe—from Romania to Malaysia—to compete and celebrate innovation in STEM.

Clara earned the incredible honor of being named a Dean’s List Finalist—one of only about 100 students worldwide (and just 2 from Colorado!) to receive this recognition from FIRST, the global robotics community founded by inventor Dean Kamen.

Although Clara was not selected as one of the 10 Dean’s List Award winners, she got to attend an exclusive celebration and experience the excitement of the world’s top robotics teams in action. Clara was accompanied by teacher Dawn DuPriest and classmate Jack.
