Compass Students Score High in State Math Competition

Last Wednesday, 16 Compass students participated in the first round of the University of Northern Colorado's Annual Secondary School State Mathematics Contest, bravely tackling the challenging questions. Congratulations to our participants: Chloe B., Malachai B., Dallon H., Kamala O., Christian Q., John R., Lucas R., Owen W., June C., Nathan M., Clara S., Jack D., Bryson M., Dylan G., William R., and Seth P. Our participation rate has increased from a handful of students last year to nearly 10% of the school population!

High scorers Seth P., Dylan G., and Clara S. were invited to the final round to be held in January at UNC. Congratulations! This is our first group of students to qualify for the final round. Excellent work -- your MathCounts efforts are paying off!
